Gold provenance
Our jewels are handcrafted by a workshop of master jewellers in Paris.
The gold used to craft our jewellery is either extracted from certified mines,
recycled gold or “grandfathered” gold, i.e., originating from existing stocks with
reliable proof that they were refined before 1 January 2012.
The workshop is supplied with its raw materials by Cookson-Clal, which is
ISO 9001 compliant. Both the workshop and the supplier are CoP and CoC
certified by the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC). This comprehensive
certification commits us throughout our professional practice.
The CoP (Code of Practices) is a code of conduct that provides a common
standard for establishing responsible business practices throughout the
jewellery supply chain, from mine to retail. It defines the ethical, social,
environmental and human rights practices that all certified members of the
RJC must comply with.
The Chain of Custody (CoC) standard ensures that the supply chain is
traceable and accountable from end to end. It applies to gold and platinum
group metals (platinum, palladium, rhodium) and is designed to promote
responsible sourcing from artisanal and small-scale mining.
